| Vista Home Premium 64 | File Sharing Help  I'm a reasonably intelligent computer user, but I'm ready to scream. I've got XP pro on my desktop and Vista 64 Home Premium on my laptop. I've set up a shared docs file on the PC. My problem is that when I make a document on the pc and store it and try to access it from the laptop I get permission denied contact administrator. Can someone help rescue my brain? Thanks in advance. Jon |

| XP x64 pro/Vista 32bit/Vista x64/7/leopard | Re: File Sharing Help adding the "Everyone" user to the permissions will definitely help (fadedrs) and then if that doesnt help check the password enabled sharing setting on your vista laptop that can be a problem too |
