If you are behind a router it will be the routers IP that is showing to the Internet not your computer and if you have strong security why would you want to hide.

If you've been banned from websites trying to change your identity to get back in is in my opinion wrong.

Well yea, but I think its something wrong with the site, cuz I didnt wrote anything on the forums thay day etc. Im just affraid I have been banned, I have no idea why but.. maybe it something cuz they were like back after a week, that day.

And so..Im sitting on my laptop right now, so if I go to the normal computer, will it be a different IP there? Its not wireless router there...

I do not know how you are connected to the internet, but in most cases you would connect through an ISP who would provide you an IP address on loan. This means your IP may shift over time. I doubt a specific site would block such an IP. It would be better to block your log in. Otherwise there are ways to change the IP you get from your ISP.

Yeah, sometimes a website site will hiccup after upgrade. Forum software does this.

I hide my IP at home to prevent problems. For that I use the free Zone Alarm.
