I have major problem with my vista 64bit, and its about my internet problems

ive installed the correct driver for my Acer 8930G:

Acer Aspire 8930G notebook Atheros AR8121 LAN Driver v1.0.0.30 v1.0.0.23 for Windows Vista x32/x64 and XP x32/x64 Related Products Aspire 6935, Aspire 6935G
I live at school's dorm and im using the school's internet i only need to connect the ethernet cable for my pc to connect straight to the internet

i can successfully connect to the internet, but after a random timing my internet will stop working and i need to restart my computer EVERYTIME to connect back to internet again

my Roomate shares the same router with me and he never has that problem, he uses xp sp2 32bit

ive tried with Other OS's e.g. Vista 32bit premium, XP Sp2 64bit and they can all log into the internet without any disconnections.

Thanks for helping me

Hmmmmmm? Try to connect to safe mode with networking.

Search for System Configuration, Click on Boot, then Tick Safe Bot + Networking. Restart your computer.

After you restarted your laptop, Open cmd.exe and type ping <default gateway>. See if its able to send and receive packet data.
