I have a new laptop that runs Vista Business 64b. I can connect to my wireless network without a problem. However, I have a docking station that is not wired (i.e., I have a separate machine that is hard-wired to the cable modem and wireless router, not my docked laptop) and whenever I dock my laptop, I can connect to the wireless router, but I do not get Internet connectivity (Local only).
I have talked to Dell directly and they told me that since Vista does not allow one to edit Docked and Undocked profiles, that there is no solution to my problem. Can someone help me figure out how to get Vista from apparently over-riding my wireless internet connectivity when I am docked?
