Vista - google pop up

i tap on explorer icon to get my home page google. then a little window pops up and asks' restore your last session or go to your home page. how do i get rid of this pop up' so instead google just loads like it used to?

It sounds like you are using Internet Explorer 7. Checking the "Do not show me this dialog again" box in step 3 of OPTION ONE in the tutorial below should stop it for you.

thanks for reply . what you directed me to is not what i need ' i've seen that box before. my question is ; when i tap on the ie icon in the lower left taskbar to load my home page of google it only shows a white blank page with the little box that asks restore your last session or go to your homepage. if i don't tap on go to your homepage google won't load. it used to just load. i think i have explorer 8? there's a new thing on the top under the seach box called web slice gallery. i'd like to delete this box if possible.

You can right click on the toolbar, select Customize, and click on Add or Remove Commands. From here, select the Web Slices icon in the right pane to move it to the left pane with arrow in the middle to remove it.

Resetting IE8 should help with this as well.

thanks again but thats not it either. i tap on ie icon to load google. the page appears as a white blank. on top is alittle box with two questions. open your last browseing session or go to your homepage.i have to tap on go to your home page for google to load. it's this pop up box i want to get rid of.

It sounds like IE may have crashed and recovered asking you that question on what you want to do. Have you reset IE already?
