Error connecting to a printer

I have a wireless home network with four computers (two with Vista [one 32 bit and one 64 bit] and two XP SR3). The 32 bit Vista computer has a Canon i1600 printer connected to it. One of the XP computers, a desktop, has a HP Photosmart D7360 printer connected to it and is connected to the Belkin router with an Ethernet connection. The other computers connect wirelessly. The 64 bit Vista computer is a new notebook. All computers belong to the same workgroup (WORKGROUP). I am having the following problems:
  • Both of the Vista computers can “see” the D7360 printer but neither are able to connect to it. I get an dialog window titled “Connecting to a Printer” and a message “Unable to connect, error 0x00000012). The XP computer not directly connected to the D7360 can connect to the D7360 and print documents over the network. The 64 bit computer can send and print documents on the i1600. Both printers are configured for sharing.
  • The 64 bit Vista computer is only able to access some of the files on the XP desktop. Some folders/files on the desktop with sharing enabled cannot be accessed. I get the not authorized to access message.
Any suggestions on to to overcome the problems?
