Vista - Sharing HDD with another PC

So my brother and myself are on the same network in our house and we would like to be able to have access to eachothers HDD's and files so that we can share stuff without having to use the external HDD or flashdrive.

So far when we've tried to allow access to our HDD's it only gives access to the public drives and we can't access the C drive or anything else.

Is there something wrong? If you need more info. just tell me.

What folders do you want to share? are you using homegroup, or workgroup?

We could also use more info on your networking setup

What folders do you want to share? are you using homegroup, or workgroup?

We could also use more info on your networking setup

Hi again Ken

Well we want to share everything on both of our PCs; so all of our folders. And we're using homegroup.

In regards to our network we're just running through the same router (What else do you need?)
