I have a HP laptop running vista home premium. When I close the lid and leave the computer sit for a while and then when I come back after a few mintues I find that I am no longer connected to my wireless network.
I have adjusted the power settings to "do nothing" when closing lid, Never sleep, turned off screen saver, and disabled power management for the wifi adapter. I have also tried turning on presentaion mode in windows mobility which says that its supposed to keep the computer awake. I only loose my connection when I close the screen on my laptop. I have already installed the latest drivers.

have you got an acer?
if you have empowering technology might have done something.
also fill out your system specs in the bottom left hand corner of your post, and click update system specs. fill in as much as you can.

from there, we could figure something out for you.
