My main folder on my desk computer is "Steve"
On my laptop it is "Albert"
When I make a folder pair to sync Steve with Albert it doesn't work. There's a
ga-zillion "Access Denied" errors. Both folders are definately SHARED.
On my Desk computer, "USERS" is shared, and under that "Steve" is shared. Same for the laptop with "Users" and "Albert".
In the directory: COMPUTER / OS (C) / USERS /
"USERS" has two little heads on the icon.
and under it, both "PUBLIC" AND "STEVE" also have two little heads.
Even so, I have clicked SHARE / ADVANCED SHARING / SHARE THIS FOLDER a dozen times, even though it already says "Steve shared" (Same with Albert)
But when I pair up the individual subfolders, ie: "Contacts, Desktop, Documents, . . . etc.", they all work like a charm. So I can get the program to work just fine with the 11 subfolder pairs, but I'd like to do it with just the one main folder.
Can anyone help?
