I have Comcast ISP and a Linksys WRT54GC wireless router. It has worked flawlessly until we lost power, now I cannot connect to the internet with it. The wireless network still exists and boadcast just local only. If I plug the modem directly into the laptop it works but it wil not work with the wireless router, I have also tried plugging into the router with an ethernet cable and still local only. I thought maybe the router was fried so I pulled out another router and I get the same thing.

Unfortunatly comcast will not help at all when it's a router issue. I was really hoping someone might figure this out I have tried looking up the DNS servers for comcast for my area and putting those into the wireless settings, I have power cycled the router and modem and have reset the modem as well.

Open a command prompt and type the following without the quotes and paste all the results back here, "ipconfig /all". Open IE, click Tools, Internet Options, Connection Tab, then the LAN Tab and make sure all the check boxes in the window that opens are clear.
