Solved How to remove this Printer folder

Hello there! I'm having a little trouble trying to delete this "Printers" folder inside my network, unfortunately, it appears on every computer connected to my network, but the strange thing is: The folder does not appear if I browse trough my network from my laptop, so I think something is "wrong" with my Windows Vista machine's settings. I'd really like to have this solved because this irritates me.

I've already tried deleting and reinstalling my printer, this folder even appears for devices which have no printer attached, it's completely useless for me and all it does is clutter my network. Right clicking and deleting will not work. because there's no such option available for this folder.

But it wasn't there until today, and it does not make any sense to display that folder for devices which do not have a printer attached to it.

On my computers without Printers, it does not show. It should show up all of the time by design, and it does for me, even if logically it does not make sense. Are you sure it was not there? It is certainly an odd case you have here.

I'm 100% it was not there before, because I use my network daily. It just popped up some hours ago (without me making any changes to my settings)

And my Windows 7 Laptop does not display this folder, even on computers which have a printer installed.

I don't really know then. I cannot speak for Windows 7, but that may well be by design. Maybe an update, especially if you weren't fully up to date, but are now. Other than that, I cannot help you. :(

It's okay, at least you tried! I appreciate it a lot, thank you. But I have now solved my issue by disabling a check box under "Network" using "TuneUp System Control".

It was telling me that it is a folder to add printers and modify them etc. But as stated above, I have solved my issue and this thread can be closed, sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused and thanks once again.
