Serious Intel Wifi 5100 problem

Recently, my Intel Wifi 5100 has stopped working on windows. For no appearant reason, Windows decided that my Wifi card is not good enough to be read. When i open my Device Manager, my Ethernet port shows up, but the Wifi card does not. The wierd part is that the Wifi card gets read in "Splashtop" which came on my laptop. I can use Wifi on the Linux bases OS, but not windows. I've tried installing all drivers, but Windows refuses to acknowledge the presence of my card. Any clue on how to fix this?

EDIT: Specs

Hey, welcome to Vista Forums!:party:
Assuming the wireless card is removable, you could try re-seating the wireless card, also, you could take the card out, and boot, then shut down, and put the card back in, then boot and see if it made any difference.

If it's not removable, check to make sure any wireless switches are turned on.

Please post back with what you have tried, or even if you managed to fix the problem and how!
Hope this helps,
Daniel ;)

Thanks for the reply.
Yes, the card is removable, and i have tried to take it out and boot, but it didn't really help. I also tried switching the wires that connect from the main and aux plugs. I took my computer in to Best Buy where i bought it and my problem confused every technician they had. I don't really see my options as both my store and factory warranty have run dry.
