Local Only Wireless problem

Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem connecting to my wireless that I just recently set up in my house. My system is an HP G50 104nr running Vista Home Premium. I have taken many steps to try to resolve this issue and have not been able to find any solutions. I have uninstalled and reinstalled drivers for the wireless card, run Fix-It solutions through Microsoft's support site, returned the router that I had purchased for the house and replaced it with a different brand and model, and have even recovered the system back to factory and the problem persists. I can still connect via Cat5, but that defeats the purpose of having wireless. My system was working perfectly as of a week ago before my wife and I moved into our new apartment and I am out of options as to what to do to resolve this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the speedy response but I can't well speed up my wireless if I can't connect to the web. Think you again and I look forward to any other suggestions!

Sorry, I know it was speed, but I thought there might be some general info. that might help. Not to be!

Try this link from HP:-
HP Wireless Networking Center - Troubleshoot your wireless network

Again it may be info you have already covered.
I have a feeling i've come across this before here in the forum, I will check back & see how it was resolved.

No problem. I've looked through the two links and both contain basic troubleshooting steps that I have already tried. The issue is definitely with the system. I have scoured these forums and so far have come up dry. Thank you so much for all of your help. Keep us posted if you find anything that may work.
