Hi all! :)I have a Dell 1545 that won't get on the internet. Neither LAN or Wi-Fi works even though it says it is connected to my wifi network. Any ideas?

So, none of the above suggestions worked?
Did you check for driver updates?
Have you tried a different computer through the same system?
Have you changed ethernet cables?
What router/modem make & model number?

Have you the updated Dell Support Centre downloaded?
If not please download it, I find it very useful when checking a 1545 I deal with frequently.
It takes you through a full computer health check.

Dell - Support

Have you checked in device manager for any out of date drivers?

Could you look in the Device Manager.
> Click on Start
> Right Click on Computer
> click on Properties.
The left hand side column is Device Manager, you can then navigate to display adapters and see if there is anything with a yellow warning sign in there, if there is then right click and update drivers for the problematic device.
For those with a Windows keyboard you can get their quickly by pressing the Windows Key and the
Pause key at the same time.

Hope it can assist.
Thank you.
