I have a Compaq Presario a931nr running vista home premium sp2, with all updates installed.

This is a new install and updated totally. plugged into the router I have internet access. But connecting via the wifi I only have local access.

I have reset the winsock catalog and the log. I have uninstalled the device removing the drivers and reinstalled and it appears to be working correctly.

No Tunnel adapter information when I look at the configuration of the network on the machine with the issue.

HELP??????

You seem to know a lot more about wireless routers and modems than I do, so I may not be able to help. Try unplugging your router and/or modem for at least 30 seconds and then plug them back in and see if it helps. Also, restart your PC if you haven't already since the problem started. When did the problem start? Did you update something or install a new program right before the issue started? OR did it just suddenly stop working? Can other devices connect to it wirelessly without a problem?
