i can access the network see other comps transfer files etc but cant get to internet diagnose and repair says everything is ok but still cant access internet other machines on network can get to internet so its just my machine tried uninstalling network adapter and reinstalling it ran spyware and virus scans tried ipconfig release and renew also tried winsock fix and rebooting comp and router modem also no luck all to no avail any help would be appreciated
running vista home premium 64 bit

I have attached a script with this post and I would like you to download this script to your desktop and run it as an administrator. All this script does is reset your internet connection and things associated with it
Can you do the following for me please? It will provide me with a little more detail about your system
OTL
Download OTL to your desktop.
Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed to let it run uninterrupted.
When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
Under the Standard Registry box change it to All.
Check the boxes beside LOP Check and Purity Check.
Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time, and post it with your next reply.
