Solved Windows Cannot Find Any Networks

I have perused all of the various threads on here that match this title and have tried everything. I don't know what to do next. I just got my computer back from the shop after 6 MONTHS and it won't connect to the internet. I don't even think it is showing my wireless card. I have a Toshiba Satellite. My wireless switch is on. I checked my devices in the Device Manager and the only thing that is showing up with a caution sign is the Ethernet Controller (is that my wireless?). I have no idea what that is. I have set the WLAN settings to automatic and my ipconfig reads:

host name..............:user-pc
primary dns suffis....:
node type..............:Broadcast
IP Routing Enabled...:No
WINS Proxy Enabled..:No

Please help. Also, I'm not that tech savvy. So, talk to me like I'm 5. Thanks!

Have you went to start>control panel>network and sharing center> press diagnose and repair or setup a connection or network ? i would press the diagnose and repair first. Give a holler back if this does not fix you up.

Ok, I just went and did a Repair and Diagnose I got this message:

The network adapter "Local Area Connection" is not correctly configured to use the IP protocol

The network adapter "Realtek RTL8101 Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" is experiencing driver or hardware related issues.

Make sure your Internet Protocol Bindings are corrext
ensure that "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and "Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)" are selected in teh configuration for the network adapter "Local Area Connection"

I checked the network adapter drivers and it said they were up-to-date.

I also did the protocol bindings check thing and they were both checked.

Still stumped :(

Use the " setup a connection " setting now, lets see if it will configure the connection for you. Post back please when you have tried this .

When I try this I selected "Connect to the Internet; set up a wireless, broadband, or dial-up connection to the internet"

But then the next page asks me "How Do you want to connect?" and the only options it gives me are Broadband (PPPoE) or Dial-up.

What should I do?

Ok, I tried that. But, the thing that seems to be missing the driver is the ethernet controller. The Realtek card says it is up to date. So, I downloaded the driver from Realtek's site but the controller wouldn't recognize the driver I downloaded. Are they two different things?

OK The ethernet card may be intergrated with the mother board.
Can you go to the ethernet card in Device Manger and get the information about the manufacturer, etc.?
