network .. not working

    network .. not working

    I have a laptop, it has windows vista with service pack 2 installed. I can't get any access to the internet. In fact I can't even ping 127.0.0.1 We have tried booting into safe mode and removing the wired and wireless network cards, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. We have even made sure that we are using ip4 and not ip6. What could be causing this problem.

    Are you sure your wireless is turned on:



    Have you tried a wired connection?
