lost internet connection!

Hi Guys

hope someone can help.....im running vista home premium 32bit and connected to the internet wirelessly...its been working fine for years....however the other day i unplugged the power supply and monitor cable to connect another pc to the monitor....and when i switched the 2 plugs back to my pc...the internet stopped working....it sometimes says its connected to local network but not inernet...and sometimes it doesnt even connect locally

anyone got an idea of what the problem maybe..i tried doing a system restore too but it didnt work, ive disconnected network adapter and tried that too still same issue

What do you mean by the power supply? Just the cord?

What kind of wireless card do you have?

Double check all your cables are plugged in still. Its quite easy to accidently knock one out.
