Cannot bridge connections

Ok, so I'm not gonna lie I'm not too computer savvy. But I am having problems connecting my xbox 360 to the internet through my laptop. I am trying to figure out how to connect the two manually through an ethernet cord(should be no problem right?), however it won't go through. My laptop is connected to the internet through a usb mobile internet. It appears in the local area connection, and the ethernet shows up through the local area 2 connection. The mobile internet service is "Clear"(formerly clearwire), and has never given me a problem. The way that I was instructed to give the ethernet cableservice is to "bridge the connections". I removed the Internet connection sharing so that I could bridge them, and it the bridge says that it's connected. The Clear service has full bars and never fully connects back through service once bridged, and for a split second when it DOES connect, it gets kicked and has to restart itself. What am I doing wrong here??? Im sorry for the lengthy post but I wanted to give yall all of the facts first :D. BTW it's my first post
