Connected to WiFi, but can't reach internet

My laptop crashed and I took it to a professional to get it repaired. He reinstalled Vista and put all my files back on, but now I can't connect to the internet. Neither IE nor Chrome will work. When I click "Diagnose Connection Problems" it says "Your modem or router is not available" and none of the suggested fixes work. However, in the system tray it says I'm connected to my wifi.

This may be an unrelated issue, but when I click Start>Accessories, it opens two tabs with this link: redirect.hp.com/svs/rdr?TYPE=4&tp=iefavs&s=hpaccessories&pf=cnnb&locale=en_us&bd=all&c=83
Because of this, I can't get a snip of the Command Prompt as advised in the Network Posting Tips sticky. Is there another method to get that info for you guys? Would a screenshot work?

Here are my system specs:

Please open a command prompt and type in the following command: ipconfig /all. Please copy and paste the output or take a screenshot. Also have you tried a wired connection? Can other computers access the internet? Can you access the internet from other routers?

No, I haven't tried a wired connection. I don't know what wire I would need for that and would prefer not to have to purchase anything. The other computers in the house have no trouble accessing the internet. I don't have any other routers to try (assuming by "router" you mean the little black box that plugs into the wall).

Edit: I got the command to open as administrator. Here you go:

And here's the DNS info (I already tried a fix last night to flush the cache, do I need to do it again?):

Please let me know if the above files have any personally identifying info in them. I blocked out the names, but I'm not sure what everything else means.

You are getting a valid ipaddress from your router. Try typing in 192.168.0.1 into your browser and tell me what you get. Also it is really important to try to reach the internet on your computer from another source. What you would need to get would be a cat 5e or cat 6 cable, which you will be able to get cheaply from a computer store or multiple other stores (lowes, walmart, best buy, etc). You also take your laptop somewhere with free wireless access or even a friend's house; somewhere with working internet. I strongly recommend that you try both. Also try booting into safe mode with networking.

I forgot I had some extra cords that came with my router. One (labelled "UTP CAT.5E 350MHz PATCH ISO/IEC 11801 & EN 50288 & ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 3P CONFORM FOR GIGABIT ETHERNET 24AWGX4P TYPE CMX(UL) E15311E-Y RoHS") worked and I was able to access the internet. I quickly installed an antivirus and ran a scan and it came up clean. Unfortunately, there's no way I can keep the laptop plugged in permanently. The position of the router in relation to the nearest table makes the cord cross the hallway, which is too much of a tripping hazard for the other members of my household. Is there a way to get the internet working without the cord?

I tried typing in my IP without the cord. Here's what it said:
Google Chrome could not load the webpage because (IP address) took too long to respond. The website may be down or you may be experiencing issues with your internet connection.

Check your internet connection. Check any cables and reboot any routers, modems, or other networking devices you may be using.

Allow Chrome to access the network in your firewall or antivirus settings. If it is already listed as a program allowed to access the network, try removing it from the list and adding it again.

If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, go to the Chrome menu > Settings > Show advanced settings > Change proxy settings > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN"

I also booted into safe mode - still no internet.

I suspect either a problem with your network card or with the drivers. Try uninstalling the drivers for the network card and then rebooting.

How do I do that? I'm kind of worried I'll mess things up more.
