On second thought, I don't think that will solve your problem. Did you try doing a reset in the advanced tab of IE options in control panel?

Thanks MDOC, but no go on the first suggestion. As far as advanced tab in ie in control panel, where is that? There is no IE in control panel that i can see.
Thanks for trying though.

Go to control panel and look for Internet Options (with control panel set to Classic View), open it and go to Advance tab. The reset button is on the bottom. Click it.

Nope, no Internet Options there. Double checked.

Hmm, should be there. OK, looks like IE7 uninstall and re-install is the way to go.

Hi Msantana,

Since you tried everything else and the fact that you do not have Internet Options in the Control Panel (Classic View), I would recommend doing a Upgrade install from within your current Vista. Your current programs and most settings should remain intact.

Be sure to Backup any important data just in case.

Sorry nothing else worked for you,
Shawn

hey it is all good now. Reinstalled as upgrade from within Vista and now everything is great. The only thing i can think of is a corupt install. When i first installed vista i had my memory clocked at it's rated 1066 and i had crazy kinds of errors. One i clocked it down to 889 mhz it was stable but there might have been some files corupted on install. thanks shawn for the idea.

Your welcome Msantana,

Glad to hear everything is ok now. Do not forget to run Disk Cleanup to get rid of the leftovers from the previous install. It will be a big file.

Thank you for the feedback,
Shawn
