MSMPENG is the antimalware engine used by OneCare and Windows Defender. If it is
consuming excessive CPU, it may be conflicting with another process on your PC.
If you have any other security package - antivirus, real time antispyware, or
similar, uninstall it. If the problem persists, it would be best to contact
support to ahve this investigated.
