Best way to use 16 gig

Hi,

I've persuaded my boss that I need 16 gig of RAM. The purpose being, of course, to make Vista fly.

Is a RAM disk the best way to do this? Can I 'cache' the system disk in a RAM disk?

Or is there a better way to make use of my new endownment.

Thanks,

Robert

16gb of RAM O.o, don't waste the money, get 8gb and persuade him to let you get a Q6600 quad core. 8gb of ram is even overkill

Really? I get oom crashes using fsx and adobe cs3. I have completely disabled system restore, hybernation file and indexing. I think 16gb is not overkill for me, im just waiting to see some reviews

16gb is ideal for high res photo editing and video ork. Now you need two or three 47 inch widescreens to go with it to make the rig more compleat.
