I used a script dmex made called KillAll.vbs to kill all unnecessary apps, then performed the reboot. You can download it Below: Vista Forums Kill All Non-Essential Applications:  Save it and then you can install it. | Windows Vista™ Ultimate | Re: ReBoot Time Hey Guys, I updated Johngalt`s post (just above) with the new version of KillAll and uploaded it here on the forum instead of using my ftp  I hope you guys find it as useful as I do for killing all non-essential applications before running Games or System Analysis/benchmarking Tools I will create a dedicated Tutorial with Instructions on adding programs you want whitelisted from the kill later  Steven |
