Decided to replace my Mobo, its about time anyway, going for a GA-EP35-DS4, any thoughts on my choice.

I was having a search in google and i can see u have the same problem as me

Spec:

Cooler Master Real Power M620 PSU
Asus Striker Extreme MOBO
Corsair Dominator RAM
Intel Q6600 G0 Stepping CPU
BFG 8800 GTS 512 Pre-OC GPU
Samsung Spinpoint F1 750GB HD

It only whines when i open a powerful game or overclock my cpu to 3.0 ghz or more!

Not yet! but i will do soon! Ive heard it could be my gpu? but it sounds like a more electrical noice maybe a capacitor?

crazy thought. When I got my new cooler master HAF 932, there was this weird intermittent whining noise that would come from it. After tightening all the screws of the side panel the noise has gone. might be worth a try to really tighten those screws, might just be vibration from something loose
