multipilier and fbs

can someone please tell me is it better to use a higher multipilier
or higher fbs . i can get my e8400 to goto 7 x 533 (3731) or 8 x 475
(3800) or 9 x 425 (3800) all stable with the vcore and memory listed
below.

multipilier fbs core speed vcore memory ( 1:1 ) temps

7 x 533 = 3731 1.28 5,5,5,15 39/58
8 x 475 = 3800 1.36 5.5.5.15 39/60
9 x 425 = 3825 1.36 5,5,5,15 39/60

what's the best one to use?

thanks scrooge

Re: multipilier and fbs

It doesn't matter. Use whatever combo gives you the highest clock speed. You might find that you can go a bit higher if you removed the Ballistix and just went with the G.Skill.

Re: multipilier and fbs

if your rig will run a 533mhz FSB (stable) x7 then do that, the FSB is the most important frequency in regards to your OC.

a 500+ FSB will heat up your NB significantly though..... but it will bench the fastest out of your listed settings. IMO
