| Windows 7 x64 | 4 pin to 3 pin fan cable I have a Zalman 9700-NT cooler, which uses a 4 pin connector to connect to the motherboard, but I want it to connect to my fan controller, so I can have direct control to when I want to lower it, only problem is the extension cables that came with the fan controller can't connect to a 4 pin cpu fan connector, they're all 3 pin. Anyone know where I could find a 4 pin to 3 pin fan cable? I've had a look around, but not having much luck. |

| Windows 7 x64 | Re: 4 pin to 3 pin fan cable I can't seem to find an actual 4 pin male fan connector. So would I be able to just use a 3 pin connector like this:  As I read the 4th connection isn't actually always needed? |
