Memory Ram Update

If i will change my 4GB 2x2GB Kingston 800MHZ DDR2-NON-ECC CL5 DIMM (KVR800D2N5/2G) http://www.directron.com/kvr800d2n52g.html

WITH

Just found this. It isn't using the RAM you specified but it is still a comparison.

It will really only benefit you if your overclocking. Games will show little to no discernible performance difference.

the difference will be minimal & even then you'll only see an increase if your benching...as Smartyball has stated, if OCing the faster RAM will net you a higher FSB but for general use, 1066mhz will show no improvement over 800mhz

Vista has always preferred ''quantity'' over ''quality''

That depends on who you ask

Each brand have thier own 'budget' and 'performance' RAM.

1066,1000,1100,1200mhz is actually just 800mhz RAM that clocks really well. Ideally you'd want the highest binned with lowest latency.

A few of the more popular series are the Corsair Dominator, Kingston HyperX, G.Skill PI, OCZ Reaper
