Re: Laptop MAJOR heat issue's

I believe laptop users can't use fan speed or any other type of fan control is because the fan is linked to the acpi, not the GPU or CPU temp settings.

I have a 2.2ghz dual core amd processor and It use to give me a heart attack, but now the temps don't scare me as much.
pic she can get pretty toasty, maxed at 90c once

Re: Laptop MAJOR heat issue's

Hi fadedrs, Use a docking station and it will really help reduce such high temps.

Here are more accurate temps.

still normal for a laptop? sorry this is my first laptop and it never used to get this hot.

i know they make the laptop cpu's to run in a hotter enviroment, but it still seems hot.

a docking station would be the first pic, i think what he meant to say was a cooling pad which is the second pic.
