You could fry an egg on my wifes laptop , its always been like that , i wouldnt dare check the temps , it works so i just assume its fine .......... it blows ALL the time ha ha probably something to do with the fact it was switched on when we got it 10 months ago and its NEVER been switched off since

you need a good balance of "suck" and "blow" this can also be balanced out with vents or small holes in the case sides as are often present in new cases.

the differance between balanced and unbalanced cooling can be small but as your asking...........
sounds logical......

but where dust is concerned a ''positive'' pressure is preferred (more in than out).

Ten months non-stop. Did you clean it? If not it's the right time.

I believe putting a laptop in the dishwasher on a gentle cycle does a good job.The dying cycle works wonders. [I haven't tried it yet.]

Re: Are you a Sucker or a Blower.

well, my psu (with 120mm fan) 295 co-op and 9800 are all blowers along with a rear 120mm and a top 250mm

as for suckers, I have a front 250mm and a side 350mm along with my Asus royal knight cou cooler which is so tall it sits too damn close to the side fan (if you push on the outside fan the touch so I have a strict hands off policy when running).

I dunno if it has +/- pressure but it's open well enough with HDD cage and right side vents that it wouldn't matter one way or the other and probably stays balanced
