Vista - What are your Lowest Cooling Temps?

I'm not talking about the variance in core temps, I am talking about the variance between programs and the temps they report.

sorry yes i see what you mean ....... its complicated the way temps are measured they dont take i direct temp measurement from the sensor there is some math involved and as intel dont reveal the exact way this temp should be measured or the chips TJmax its always a best guess on the side of the program writer (ill try and find a link that describes this better than me)

i can tell you that Real Temp is widely regarded in the overclocking community as the one to use so i just go with that , the writer spends alot of time cofiguring his software using his own temp sensors and equipment

Hey Mitch, you might want to update your specs

You must be careful with AMD processors. It is not an exact measurement but a calculated value - see here ( Core Temp - How it works ). On an AMD 4800+ I have seen temperatures as low as 8C (in Florida).
