Re: What are your Lowest Cooling Temps?

i saw 24 degrees once ........... years ago with an overclocked athlon 4800 dual core skt 939 on a thermaltake big typhoon with a 120mm fan , that was just my idle temps mind

now im looking at 30-36 idle (depending on how high the wife has the heating) and 50 or under during load , im happy with that for now , my cpu is it its max stable OC anyway i cant do any better

even if i boot up and run HW monitor straight away i wont see as low as 24

From top to bottom, HW Monitor, Core Temp and Everest.

All three were screenshot at the same time which makes you wonder why they are giving different values.

Re: What are your Lowest Cooling Temps?

Thanks Archie I know mate
I gave that rig to my brother after I had my fun with it, but I never really took many pics of it or anything, i'll have to see if I can get some screenshots of the CPU speed running stable, give me some weeks guys, my brothers in another state.
Oh and those temps..... lol I could have pushed it more, but you melt the bottom of the motherboard going that extreme in the overclock.
So my temps on the top side were between probably negative 120-196 degrees Celcius and on the bottom, 80 degrees, if only i hade made a heatpipe to go around and under the board. (that's why I didnt, there is no place to put thermal paste-duh - destroy my rig why dont I).

Re: What are your Lowest Cooling Temps?

There's not really much difference between Air cooling and a liquid nitrogen setup... give or take a couple of hundred degrees

Anyway, this was during winter and is the coolest I ever saw my rig:

Now it's warming up a bit (22.4C)

Ever since I put some ghetto filters on my intake fans, the ambient temp inside has risen a few extra degrees. I'm not looking forward to summer

Differently even though those temps were taken at the exact same time in three different programs?

I'm not talking about the variance in core temps, I am talking about the variance between programs and the temps they report.
