Re: Motherboard settings

Hello panais,
If everything in the Bios is set to default, and it's running OK then it should be fine.
If you want to change anything then take a look at the voltage, check on the manufactures site for the recommended voltage and set that in the Bios, sometimes in default mode the memory wont get enough volts.
Unless you are going to overclock your memory, then thats all you need to do.

Re: Motherboard settings

agreed.....

as long as you set ''optimized defaults'' before uninstalling the old RAM your board will auto detect your new RAM timings & voltages..

though the 1066mhz sticks may default to 800mhz, you'll have to manually alter the frequency in the BIOS...
