Cooling and one more thing...

Hey guys,
I have two questions here,

What would be a good liquid cooling system for my PC which is under 200$ (CPU and GPU). I am having hard time finding one cheap..

2nd. Does higher resolutions affect our eyes more or less than lower resolution?
I currently run on 1680X1050.

From what I've heard you shouldn't buy a kit for liquid cooling. You're better off buying individual parts; for one it will be cheaper and it will be better quality as well.

Don't take my workd for this though. haha

Re: Cooling and one more thing...

Answer to the second: Its not only your resolution but also how big your monitor is.

If you use a high res on a small monitor Eg: 1280x960 on a 15in monitor, the text will be too small and you'll strain your eyes.

What is your monitor dimension?

My personal setting would be the highest resoulution in which i can read the usual text without straining from about 4 feet.

Ops, sorry forgot a thing,
I even use my laptop with 14.1'' screen running on 1280X800 so are these fine?

Re: Cooling and one more thing...

Is your monitor L:W ratio?

The resolution you mentioned is 16:10.

You could comfortably use 1920x1200.

Re: Cooling and one more thing...

Well, My monitor does not support 1920x1200 resolution so the highest it supports is 1680x1050 and i have applied that.

Re: Cooling and one more thing...

Thats good enough i guess. You need not reduce it unless you have problems reading stuff.
