    blue screen of death randomly

    every once in a while when internet explorer is open the syetem will bog down and a blue screen will come up saying the system is shutting down to protect itself

    it have many reasons why this may be happening.. try to check on event log what errors you have..

    Hello kaossdruid,
    On IE, go to Tools > Manage add-ons > in the drop down box on the left, choose "All add-ons", then disable them and try IE, if all goes well, enable them one at a time to see which one is causing the errors.
    Also, go to C > Windows > Minidump > zip up the files and upload them with your next post, you may need to save them to the desktop first.
    Give us some system specs too.
