    overclock stock intell board? is it possible?

    id like to overclock my E8500 duel core 3.16ghz to 4.0 but im using a intel stock motherboard can i still do it?

    Not really. Most intel boards have the BIOS options you need locked.

    ie Multi, FSB, vcore options etc
