My lappy is really warm. Idles at about 140 degrees F, and when I watch a video or play a game, it gets to over 160.

Is this dangerous for my computer? The fan works, and operates. I've tried opening it up and cleaning it out, and it didn't work. Its all like stuck between the heat sink and board or something.

Help plox.

These temperatures are slightly high but not life threatening for the laptop. The cheap solution is a coolpad for about $20. That will lower the temp by about 10F. The expensive solution is to replace the HDD by an SSD. HDDs produce a lot of heat, SSDs produce quasi none.
You can also blow some mild compressed air thru the vents. Maybe something comes out.

Meh, I know it isn't my HDD, it runs at like 80 degrees, and this heat is coming from the other side of the laptop where the HDD isn't even at.

I think it's my processor, but it's hard to get the dust and gunk out of the fan/heat sink.

Heyy,
if you can get the laptop cracked open, you could try taking the cpu heatsink off and replacing the thermal compound, that worked for me on my pc, (my case temp was like 40C and i dread to think what the cpu temp was, so i replaced it and my temp is back to 30C)

I am planning to order a bluetooth module for my AAO751h so thats a great excuse to clean the fan out!

Daniel :D

Hmm, maybe your battery is hot, whenever i use laptops for a long period of time the battery gets really hot and it cant even sit on my lap anymore. It is normal for laptops to get hot, just make sure your cpu socket doesnt melt. Put some icepacks in a plastic bag (so the water wont leak out) and place it under your laptop, ive also noticed that when the fans are on the bottom, and the laptop is seated on your lap, the air cant get out, so you might want to put it on a solid surface like a table, or even raise it by putting a couple of blocks under the legs of the laptop so it has room for the fan's airflow.

Heyy,
you could try one of these cooling pads off ebay, im laying in bed now and my AAO751h get a bit warm, but with this, it gives the hot air room to move, and i have noticed that my RAM gets really hot, that might be whats happening with you....

Daniel :)

I put a paperback book under my laptop and I noticed than I can use it longer before it gets hot to the touch. Before it was shutting down because it was getting too hot.
