C:\ is not accessible. Access is denied.

Hello all...please help me with my Vista home premium notebook trouble. I can't access any files or folders, it says C:\ is not accessible. Access is denied. Other errors that I'm getting in my notebook is "Microsoft Feed Synchronization has stopped working" and "incorrect DLL is loaded". Please someone help me.
Thank you

Sorry, I don't think PowerShell (a scripting language) can help you here...

Hopefully you're just teasing. If you the OP is a software developer -
PLEASE DO NOT DEACTIVATE UAC! Folks, has it ever occurred to you why we are
in this mess in the first place? IMO it is because software developers
normally run as admin so they never bother to properly design their
applications to run as a standard user. When (or if) they find the problems
at the end of the project during QA, it is so late that they blow off fixing
the problem. This has the consequence of forcing their users to run as
admin. When they poll their customers they find they are all running as
admin (gee I wonder why) and this reinforces a very vicious cycle.

BTW I really hope that Microsoft is enforcing that their developers have to
at least use the consent form of UAC. I figure the more they are subject to
their own unwarranted UAC prompts, the more likely it will be that they get
fixed. :-)
