Exchange 2007 management tools

Downloaded the tools from:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Unpacked the .EXE. I noticed there was an exchangeserver.msi, tried
running that. The event viewer says "Product: Microsoft Exchange Server
-- Installation completed...".

I'm not sure what I'm missing... I'm looking to have the Exchange
Management Shell available on a remote system. I checked get-pssnapin
and get-pssnapin -registered, and can't see anything. I searched the
system for a DLL, in case I have to load it manually, and nothing...

Re: Exchange 2007 management tools

Run Setup.exe, choose custom install and then tick the managment tools checkbox.

Thought I had tried that, but guess I didn't. It doesn't work if I have
the v2 CTP installed (installer says PowerShell isn't installed).

Re: Exchange 2007 management tools

Try to change the registry value to 1.0

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PowerShell\1\PowerShellEngine\PowerShellVersion
