Accessing file properties via explorer shell hooks

Haven't had a chance to put brainpower into this one yet, hopefully someone else
has...

I'd like to get at the Pages property which Word docs have when viewed in
Explorer. This applies equally to the EXIF data on pictures or the ID3 tags on
MP3s and so on.
