Automation of aspx modification.

Hello powershell users,

I work for a company that uses Microsoft Sharepoint to build its intranet
site. However, my department's site is plagued by broken links to other
intranet sites that we do not manage, internet sites, and the remnants of our
migration to Sharepoint. We have an automated system for finding these
issues, but I would like to have a system that would allow me to look at a
broken link that may have anywhere from 1 to 20 instances and give a script a
replacement URL. My script would then optimally go to the broken pages, find
the links, and replace them with the correct URL. Basically a find-replace
function for the whole site. It would need to be able to go into both
htm/html files and the html in aspx pages.

Before I throw myself into learning powershell, what I want to know is
whether this is possible with powershell, or if there is some other tool I
would be better off using.
