| | How can I get information about running process? Please, how can I get information about running process like in "Windows Task Manager"? I know that I can use "Get-Process". But "Get-Process" unfortunately does not return information about I/O operations like "I/O Read Bytes", "I/O Write Bytes", etc. I am using PowerShell version 1. |

'Get-WmiObject Win32_Process' may work better than Get-Process eg ..... Get-WmiObject Win32_Process | ` where {$_.Name -eq 'powershell.exe'} | ` foreach {"$($_.ProcessId) $($_.ReadTransferCount) $($_.WriteTransferCount)"} -- Jon |

Hi David, You can't with Get-Process, try with Performance Counters, for instance: $pc = new-object System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter 'Process','IO Read Bytes/sec','Powershell' $pc.NextValue() --- Shay Levy Windows PowerShell MVP http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/ScriptFanatic DK> Please, how can I get information about running process like in DK> "Windows Task DK> Manager"?
