ctrl-c affects background pipelines

Ctrl-C seems to be processed by background pipelines as well as the
foreground one. This is frustrating and unexpected. There's already the
Stop() method to stop a background pipeline. Must Ctrl-C also do this??

what do you mean by a background pipeline? what technique/technology
are you using to create a background pipeline?
