Help un-installing PowerShell 1.0 from Server 2003

I'm reading the instructions on
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926139
and it says

"If you install a Windows service pack as an upgrade after you install
Windows PowerShell 1.0, you cannot uninstall Windows PowerShell 1.0. "

What kind of bologna is that?
CAN'T
Really!

I've got Server 2003 and Service Pack 2 was installed after
PowerShell.

I know somebody can help

Thanks

PowerShell v1.0 is technically a hot fix so once you install the Service pack it is cemented into place. You might be able to manually rip it out. Most of the files are found in C:\Windows\system32\WindowsPowerShell and you'd need to search through the registry and manually clean out those references.

I knew this topic sounded familiar. Now all we need is a PowerShell script to do the cleanup and removal. :-)
