get-content -encoding byte problem, v1 and v2 ctp3

"get-content -encoding byte" fails by exploding process memory on
moderate-sized files. For example, use it on a 1MB file and the command
could take several minutes to complete, and grow memory by hundreds of MB.
As far as I can tell, the memory is not releasable.

In PS V1 and V2 CTP3.

Re: get-content -encoding byte problem, v1 and v2 ctp3

Hello Leo,

I'm using CTP3, the only thing I notice is 40% cpu utilization, PowerShell's
process memory as well as total processes memory consumption doesn't change.
