Issues with un-installing powershell 1.0

Hi,

I want to install Powershell 2.0. But for that its asking me to remove the
Powershell 1.0 on my box. I tried removing this from the Control panel. But
even then its still existing and I cannot install Powershell 2.0

Any pointers on uninstalling Powershell will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Aditya

Re: Issues with un-installing powershell 1.0

Under Add/Remove Program in XP, put a checkmark at 'show updates', and
scroll down the list to the last entry. You'll see an hotfix.

Cheers.

I've seen this - happened on my laptop.

The solution I used was to nuke the registry. Search for every
occurrence of "PowerShell" and get rid of the key and sub keys. Once
you've done this. the V2 installer works a charm.

But be careful - registry editing can be dangerous.
