Just curious: is there any way to determine the size of a roaming
profile? I don't mean the size of the Users or Documents and Settings
folder; those usually contain non-roaming folders as well. I mean the
value you get when you choose Advanced in User Profiles on the Advanced
tab of the System applet of the Control Panel.

Maybe a WMI class I haven't noticed? Something in .NET?

No, just wondering which system might contain this information. Getting
the information remotely /would/ be helpful, though.

    The steps in XP:

Control Panel (Classic View) > System > Advanced tab > Settings for User
    Profiles.

    Vista:

Control Panel (Classic View) > Advanced System Settings > Settings for
    User Profiles.

The Size column is the information I'm looking for. When using roaming
profiles, this measures the size of the profile, not including anything
that is strictly local, as determined by the user policy.

    Hi David,

Did you ever manage to resolve this query? I've been trying to work out exactly the same thing for a while now but with no luck.

    Cheers,
    Scott
