This is a newsgroup, not a "forum". Public NNTP servers don't have a concept
of "sticky" posts. Even though you access this newgroup over a web
interface, the vast majority of the world uses NNTP software such as
WindowsMail or Agent or Thunderbird or who knows what.
While I understand the desire for sticky messages, and they are one feature
that actually has value in a Forum as opposed to a newsgroup, I'm not
willing to abandon the wealth of other benefits that NNTP gives me to move
to a Web forum to get sticky messages.
