PowerShell RTW hangs on startup

Occasionally PowerShell RTW hangs on startup just after displaying the
following:
Windows PowerShell
Copyright (C) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.

Waiting for several minutes doesn't produce the (on my system)
expected output from running my personal profile file for the default
console.

If I open a second console it opens almost instantly, whether or not I
have closed the faulty one.

I am not sure but it may occur only when opening the first PowerShell
console after machine startup but the delays are much longer (several
minutes) than the normal .NET Framework loading delays.

Do you have any output in your profile that might let you determine if it
happens before or after we start loading the profile?

It has happened with my PowerShell quite often with RC2, but after
installing RTW, i haven't had such problem...

I am still not sure why it was happening.
